PERRANUTHNOE is a small village on the South Coast of Cornwall, just East of Marazion, there is a Car Park and sloping access to a safe sandy beach and the beachside Cabin Cafe. It has The Victoria Inn a superb multi award winning pub, which serves super food both lunchtimes & evenings, - a Church dating back as far as 1160. The Lynfield Centre which houses The Cowhouse Gallery, The Peppercorn Cafe and a hairdressers.

Tuesday - part 2 - Around Mount's Bay to Mousehole

 Having put off a visit to Mousehole until most of the visitors had gone, we managed to get into the car park with this wonderful view of the other side of St Michael's Mount showing the old original Monastery which was then added to in later times
It was a stunningly clear day with super views over to The Lizard - here you can see the Lighthouse on Lizard Point 
Goonhilly satellite dishes as well as the much more recent Wind Farm

and looking over to home right below the Rosudgeon Water Tower
We walked up Raginnis Hill and out to the coastal footpath with the sun turning changing colour as it begun to set
Not something you see often here in West Cornwall - the frozen pond up at Porth Enys House
 Love the trees over this side of the bay
See a wall and they'll insist on looking over it

The wooden Baulks that help protect the harbour are still looking in good shape as they haven't had as much stormy weather to cope with as last year
We had a super piece of Lemon Drizzle cake and cup of tea and by then the lights were on

We then went into The Ship Inn and had fish & chips and by the time we came out the tide was now well in 

The Celtic Cross out on St Clement's Isle between two Christmas trees. Super to see that it is still looking so good as it has really suffered in past years due to storms

Almost missed the Dolphin
and off home we went !

    Thanks for these great photos. I guess they will soon be taking down the lights.

      Was an amazing day - so clear and bright, - just the opposite today when it's been cold and grey. The Christmas and New Year visitors went home happy as the weather had been pretty good for the time of year. The Mousehole lights switch off 7th January - then begins the long schedule of removal and storage until next year. Sue
