Well, the wind had gone this morning, but it was damp and dreary

Looking rather depressed as the drizzle was getting worse

A little later I popped up to Oamaru and saw this low cloud creeping along the hilltops

Didn't come much lower before it was gone

Nice and clear for a while

Two of the five boats at anchor in the bay

Spring has arrived and the Spring hanging baskets have gone up at The Victoria Inn

Could hear a constant helicopter noise this afternoon - checked on the AIS and it seemed to be down on the garden at The Mount and was there for a long time

Later it went out to sea for what I assume was training with one of the ships

Afternoon walkies - the dark clouds behind Penzance were a bit worrying

The dogs always want to go down this field - lots of bunnies I suspect

The wind had really come up and it was very wild on the footpath

Turning round every now and then I realised that the cloud was moving very fast

Waves were really crashing in near the point

Just realised I've got three that are almost the same - still love the water

Wind was gusting just short of 50mph by now and it was difficult to stand still

Was still 1 hour 40 minutes off high tide - oh dear !

It started to spot with rain so we rushed to get home

The the sun came out and this amazing double rainbow appeared - all the way from Illawarra to Oamaru

The rain was really heavy, but fortunately on our backs

It suddenly got brighter - just before it started to fade

Bad photo, but I was amazed to see how far round the setting sun is now
