ALP Centre testing her amazing fire hoses
General cargo vessel Beautriumph that arrived in the bay overnight
Turning around
Great sight
Spotted this super little chap
Just a chick - know Wrens are nesting really close to the front door
Sorry about the ugly bird feeder, but have to fasten everything on with wire or tape or naughty Mr Crow takes the whole thing
Quick walkies for dogs as Wooster has a slight limp
re-seeding or fertilising the top field
Still some late Cauliflowers to cut
I went up to Trebarvah to cut some of the plants growing around the edge of the farmyard as they block the view from Oamaru
Was lovely and warm up there
Afternoon walkies
Fast cat Iceni Spirit on her way to stop off in Newlyn - making for the wind farms up North
Really calm today
Lovely big beach
Not speaking !
Mr & Mrs Crow are building a nest right in front of us - not sure it will withstand a big gale
Lovely to see a Lugger crossing the bay - possibly Barnabus
The proposed way to solve the parking problems - pity - I had assumed that after all this time there would be other options - Thanks Cornwall Council
Catching up ! Your walk was spectacular...what views ! another chilly grey day, very envious of your beautiful blue skies ! Iceni Spirit, name familiar to this part of the country, will follow it up.Just had a piebald Jackdaw in the garden...very strange looking with his grey head.Your little Wren is delightful, one of my favourites.Thank you Sue.macca.now a beautiful male Pheasant sitting on the birdbath...a bit precarious..whoops !!
ReplyDeletePleased you've enjoyed the photos again - Love to see the little Wren - hopefully I will see two of them together. Hope the Pheasant didn't fall off the birdbath. Sue
DeleteHi Sue and Jim,
ReplyDeleteBeautiful day! Glad you are cutting back the bushes. They will have put on a lot of growth as the weather has warmed. Love the bunnies:)
Where are the summer crowds going to park? Do you pay to park at the car park and overflow? Hope you don't have cars up as far as your place!
Lovely pics. thanks. Hope Wooster is improving.
Betty
Hi Betty,The visitors will either have to pay the £4.00 per day (if they're lucky they will do 2 hours for £2.00 - but not in high season) Sad thing would be if they all just drive away - although there is very little free or cheap parking these days. I suspect that as usual nothing will get done at all and we'll have to continue to struggle to get in and out of the village on fine days in the main season. No sign of a limp today thanks. Sue
DeleteThanks for the beautiful photos of Kynance Cove yesterday. One of Naomi's favourite places in Cornwall.
ReplyDeleteIt is beautiful there - we ought to go more often. Sue
