Wednesday

Early start for us on another busy day - Matt the Electrician arrived at 8am to sort out the lights by the front door, which had got wet inside and blown a fuse several months ago - Matt is a busy guy ! He also replaced another outside light in the garden which had literally fallen apart - although it was still working. He then put a timer for the pump in the pool shed. Job done by lunchtime - but it won't be cheap !  I was then inspired to sort out the five lights in the Courtyard & bring the barbecue up from the garage and onto the patio - Phew !
Afternoon walkies and spotted this Valerian alongside the footpath
Lots of Seaweed down on Boat Cove again
 A bit calmer today

 Waves not as big today
Still quite a few down on the beach
While Jim was barbecuing he spotted Mount's Bay gig Kensa quite close in

The sun catching this years Echium Forrest - that are shooting skywards
Kensa turning around at Cudden Point, then heading back across the bay
Popped down to see what the courtyard looked like with the lights on
Can't get the Canariensis Palm in the photo as the leaves are up as high as our bedroom window
At least our guests can see their way safely down the stairs now !

  1. Your garden is looking beautiful Sue, lighting in the garden makes such a difference, a couple of my lights have decided to not work this year, so must get them sorted out, always something to do. Hope you have plenty of good BBQ weather this year. Looks like we are in for a lovely weekend, may pop down, and will look out for Tilly & Wooster. Thanks once again for all the beautiful photo's.

    1. I've used clear sealant all around the lights in the Courtyard to try to stop the wet getting in - they all worked when I put a new bulb in, so it was just wet getting in. I told Jim I was charging £50.00 per hour like Matt the electrician. He He. Do hope you manage a trip down here it is looking lovely in the sunshine. Sue
