Monday

Beautiful calm early morning
Jim took the dogs up the hill and from up there her could see the low cloud appearing from the North
Lovely big beach

Back down the hill to home
After lunch we set off to Godolphin Woods, with Wooster and Tilly trying out their new harnesses that we've bought for Scilly as we hope that the handle will help with their boat-boarding
Wonderful fresh green  throughout the woods
Lovely new Ferns
Couple of lovely Red Setters
Thousands of insects above the water
We then arrived at Godolphin House - sadly the Bluebells had been knocked about by the wind and rain

and the Ferns had grown to dwarf them

The lovely Wisteria
Tulips almost finished now
Bit of an emergency in the garden - there were Bee Hives elsewhere, so I assume that one of the Queens had decided to move - they are Honey Bees and were collected by the appropriately dressed bee-keeper
The superb Wisteeria as seen from the upper garden
Looking down to the meadow
The wonderful colours of Spring
These Bluebells were still looking really good
Looking down towards the old Cider House

We were going to walk part way up Godolphin Hill, but this cloud and the thought that the tea room closed at 4pm meant we didn't walk far
Walking back down the drive

Beautiful Camellia

Not going to Scilly until June - yikes only a month away ! Just going for a week this time - you can only climb that hill to the Castle so many times - it gets steeper ! Sue
