Thursday

Glorious morning, Jim took the dogs for a walk and I went out to collect sister Pat and husband Howard from Penzance Station

 Lovely big beach

We then went down to The Cabin Beach Cafe for a light lunch
 Pat & Howard had Haloumi
and a birthday treat for me - Jim had his favourite Mint Choc Chip Ice cream cone
Merlin helicopter - definitely a door open day
Kayaks setting off with the brisk wind behind them
 Beach looking stunning

Notice says No Parking May 1st until September ! ! !
Afternoon walkies

Hundreds of Gulls - mostly Herring Gulls sheltering from the wind

Black-Backed Gull in amongst them

Lovely but rather breezy out there - but it was so warm the wind was welcome

We then went to The Square for a lovely Birthday meal

  3. Belated Happy Birthday so glad the weather was kind to you. So so hot here today, even though we had a lovely breeze it was still very hot. Rain on the way apparently, hopefully not too much to spoil the Bank Holiday weekend. Hope Wooster is feeling better. Enjoy your time with your family.

    1. Many thanks for the birthday wishes - had a great day and meal in the evening. Weather a bit too hot for me and Tilly, but Wooster is fine as he's still on the pain killers but we're keeping him steady to hope what ever he did heals ! Sue
