Tuesday

Early start as the TreeWise guys were coming to remove the fallen branch - sadly the weather wasn't co-operating  it was already raining a little. There was some work next door as well so it was all go go go !
Soon be gone !
Start at the bottom and work your way up
The rather nice Hydrangea looking a bit bashed
Pouring with rain as Rowan went up into the tree
Always looks a bit dramatic with the village below

Rowan amongst the Echiums
Sadly the rain got worse and was far too bad for any photos - but there's the finished job - with a dead branch from the right hand tree having been removed as well - giving us a better view of The Church from the balcony.
As the rain stopped the fog returned so I popped out with the dogs - past the rather sad looking Day Lillies and Hydrangea
Wooster making the most of his short walkies
and checking on the bunnies in the field as he got home

  1. Sad your tree has had to have surgery, hopefully your baby crows had already left the nest. I am sure your lower growing plants will survive and look perky again before you know it. This weather is so depressing, hoping for better at the end of the week.

    1. No Worries Kathy - the Crows decided to nest in the Cedar tree this year - they often start one then move and build another(after a storm) this year has been a strange one, we think that possibly they already have a youngster flying around as I've seen food soliciting in the pine tree - certainly lots of noise. It could be the female demanding food, if it was she's off the nest an awful lot. We shall see ! Rain is almost past us now - will take a while to get past you, then hopefully it will be brighter.
