Wednesday

Opened the curtains to see the lovely Irene passing Mousehole on a really calm morning
Love the variety of boats that we can see from here
Scillonian III out early on the day there will be a fireworks display to celebrate her 40th Birthday 9.15pm tonight in Penzance
Port Tender MTS Vallonia speeding across the bay - then back again
Jim took the dogs up to Trebarvah
Sadly we've been busy all day and Wooster has been squealing with pain when he goes to lie down - it seemed to have got worse today so I took him to see the Vet. After a thorough examination and pulling and pushing all his limbs nothing was found, so came home with pain killing/anti inflamatorys  to see how he is after a week.
Noticed just how many and how big the flowers on the Phormiums are this year - looking good in the evening sun
Lovely evening light

    1. Think the pain killers have kicked in overnight as he seems more comfortable this morning - it only hurts when he either is in the process of lying down - as he lowers his front legs - ouch ! and the stairs - sadly the stair gate is back in as he loves to follow us around and in our upside-down house it also leads to the garden. He is a big baby as he's had so little pain in his life he panics ! Not many poppies even appearing so far think it was so dry for such a long time, but there are a few appearing in the gravel. Sue

  2. The light is lovely, both in your garden and looking out to sea . . so calm.
Glad Wooster is more comfortable. Hope he has a better day today.

    1. Wooster seems fine now that the pain killers are working - we're trying to keep him calm - not easy ! Hopefully it was just a tweak - he's not a very brave boy ! Sue
