Friday

Lovely sight this morning - Tall ship the Earl of Pembroke
My turn to walk the dogs and I thought I'd better try to get a decent one done as rain was approaching

So many really dark clouds around
We now had three lovely square riggers in the bay
Wooster, nose to the wind - Tilly not bothering

Down the bay to anchor for a while
Time for the RNLI Lifeguard Hut to be removed today

All disconnected and ready to go
Superb beach today
Low loader with crane backing down to the ramp as I set off to rush home as it was spotting with rain
Pouring with rain as the hut left the village
Afternoon walkies with the usual difficulty of a Wooster in the way
Followed by a Tilly

Clouds looming from the West
Really dramatic in the sunlight

Rain was rolling down the hills over the bay

Massive cloud

Mali Rose heading out to Scilly
One in and one out !
The Earl of Pembroke leaving this evening
Amazing cloud
Sadly no sunset
But a lovely reflected one
Beautiful

  1. Beautiful colours and moods reflected in your photos today. Is Mali Rose on regular runs to the Scillys now?

    1. The colours do seem to be wonderful at the moment - such changeable weather. Lots of wind on the way in the next few days. Nothing like the terrible hurricanes thank goodness.
Doesn't sound like the problems with Mali Rose are all sorted yet - so many problems. Might hear some more gossip later this week.

    1. It's been a bit chilly in the mornings here as well as the heavy dew, which doesn't help with the lawn mowing and need to start wearing the walking boots again which my ankle and knee are not pleased about - they've been enjoying the lightweight Summer ones. Do hope the hurricane misses Florida - enough damage already in the Caribbean. Sue
