Sunday

Mizzle again this morning
But at least they had a walk
Around tea time it started to brighten up so we went for an early walkies
Going to need lots more flowers to hide behind
Some patches of blue sky

Couple of Little Egrets down on Boat Cove
Sky suddenly got dark again
Puddle is bigger today and the diversion around the National Trust sign is in use

Looking for a great wave
Wooster was kind and lead Tilly around the dry side of the "lake"

October the first and dogs are back on the beaches, so we thought we'd take them down for a quick run
I think you can see that Wooster was pleased
Yippee !

Happy boy
Waiting for Tilly

No idea why he'd lie on the wet sand

Only found a couple of these Portuguese Man O Wars
There have been hundreds of them along the coast
Cliffs looking much like they were in the Spring
Another larger one with trailing fronds of over 8ft
Yet another friend - with a ball !

Some nice waves
The Yucca flower has started to open at long last
Everything looking rather wet and covered in algae - well not Wooster of course
Lots of these just about to bloom
It really tried to be a nice sunset, but the lower dark clouds kept getting in the way

  1. Thanks for all of your great photos. You keep me in touch with Cornwall and especially that lovely area which is familiar to me. Will never forget that wonderful holiday.
Seems like you have been getting lots of rain. Makes it difficult on your walks, dodging puddles.
Love the cat trying to hide behind the pretty begonias. Also the shots of a very happy Wooster:)
    Happy October!

    1. Thank you Betty, we have had a very wet September and we can only hope that October is a little drier as the paths are all in a bad state. Still Wooster will be happy as he gets more visits to the beach rather than walk the slippery paths. Sue
