Monday

Hard to believe, but it was another beautiful day
We walked the dogs down Boat Cove Lane
Kestrel up on the electricity pole
Marazion
We met Chris with Bonnie and Cassie
The Tamarisk frames have been blown away
Super sky looking North
Not much green left
Gry Maritha heading out to Scilly and to her left you can just make out Scilly RIB Pegasus towing a yacht to Penzance
Passing Boat Cove and the Turnstones all took off
Lovely out on Maen-du Point
I popped into town for some stuff for Nick, who managed to see not one but two Doctors this morning (one a trainee)  and they confirmed that it is Chickenpox and he'll need at least this week off (as we think he's had it without spots for almost a week)  Scillonian III at rest alongside Albert Pier

Little Turnstones finding something to eat
More Mackerel sky appearing
The view as I walk down the steep hill from Market Jew Street to the car park
This chap came over as I arrived home

Setting out on our afternoon walkies and to meet our visitors up at Oamaru
The view from up there really is magnificent
Superb sunset this evening
Zooming in through the orange haze to Wolf Rock Lighthouse
Down went the sun
But left an amazing glow
The view from the front door at Oamaru Barn
The water turning orange as well

Starting to fade as we walked down the hill
Rather grainy view of The Castle with lights on inside
Still looking wonderful

and gradually faded

    1. Pleased you enjoyed the photos it was one of those special days. As for calendars, I may do a few for family and friends and "Special people" but I don't seem to have much time any more and I still have 9 months of photos to go through to choose the calendar shots. Will do my best. Sue

    1. Scillonian III might stay there for quite a while - if they've sorted out an insurance problem which indicated that they needed crew on board at all times - rather than a night-watchman type person. Hopefully there will be a few calendars - have to fight Jim for computer access ! ! Sue

  3. What a great header pic. We get lovely sunsets at Portishead. Have to walk down to the coast to see, but maybe that's a good thing!
Haven't been down this year so many thanks for keeping us "in touch". Jane.

    1. Was such a super day - have to treasure them as the grey weather keeps coming back. Nick's not too bad - first days off sick in all his working life - hopefully through the worst of it now. Sue
