Thursday

Lovely start to the day

Sea was still very lively
The waves crashing against the harbour wall in Mousehole
Still quite a swell after yesterdays storm
Lovely little sundog
and a real dog checking out the bunnies
and waiting to pounce on Tilly
Jim took them up the hill in the sunshine

Tilly getting left behind again

Dashing to catch up

A variety of architectural styles in this one

He does love to hide
War games were over Mount's Bay again -
Two Sea Kings

Love these old helicopters
Suddenly we heard the unmistakable sound of  Chinooks
Mad dash out onto the balcony, but couldn't get them both on the same shot

Off they went over the hill
I went off to the beach with Wooster leaving an off-colour Jim and Tilly at home. We met up with Lyn & Collin Yelland and their three Pointers.
Sea was still a bit splashy
Ping's ears showing a sudden stop
Waves were quite big and noisy
All four Pointers, Wooster, Bryher, Otis and Ping
We turned around and this cloud was looking ominous

Just a quick paddle

Colin with all four - 2 with black tank tops - got confusing at times

The view is much better from The Cabin now  that the Tamarisks have been cut down - they will sprout again in the Spring
As I walked home I met Jim who had walked down to meet us
So we just walked out to Maen-dhu Point & back
A couple of Oystercatchers with their reflections

  1. Enjoyed your variety of photos today. Loved the first one with sun coming up over Trebarvah.
Are the same people still at the farmhouse? Maybe in N.Z. at present.
What a great time the dogs had romping around on the beach!
    Enjoy the sunshine!
