Wednesday

Bad morning on the roads between Helston, Falmouth and Truro after snow and ice made the roads very difficult - so many hills !
We had escaped it with just some big shower clouds  passing by to the East

Jim took the dogs up the hill
Very cold, but not a bad morning
RNLI Penlee Lifeboat training with SAR helicopter

You can see how far away the lifeboat was
SAR helicopter  came right past me at home
Then over Jim
Something going on at the top of Maen-dhu Point
More dark clouds
Gry Maritha heading out of the bay

We went to Penzance to collect our glasses and then popped in to Trelawneys fish  shop where Jim treated himself to 3 small Dover Sole - had one tonight the others in the freezer
Afternoon walkies
Ring netters were out again
Low tide and a calm sea
Could hear Curlews and Oystercatchers, but only found this Redshank
Often meet this little dog with big ideas
Another oldie with a posh coat
Paths not getting any better
Just a little brightness

Not often been there in such calm conditions recently
