Friday

Started the day to find we had no water - as it turned out a large area from Ashton & Praa Sands to Goldsithney and Perranuthnoe had none.  Still none tonight - never thought I'd be pleased to have as many toilets as we have. Got some water dribbling out of the taps downstairs so have a couple of saucepans and jugs as well the two bottles we keep in the fridge

Since the snow turned to rain last night there was just a little slush left on the footpath
Just a little where it had blown around the edges
Redwings have arrived in large numbers due to the bad weather up North - not really much better down here
Very damp and murky day as we walked up to Trebarvah for Jim to collect my car and drive it home

Down in our field - bunny with Redwings

Amazing to see that garden almost looking back to normal
Sorry - really bad photos taken as it was getting dark through the window of a Lapwing in the garden
More normally seen on the Hayle Estuary in the Winter, but have come South due to the weather

    1. Water all back on and we're almost back to normal - although we're lucky enough to be able to get around but the shops don't have much stock of the staples like bread, milk. Still Jim managed to do his shop and we've got loads in the freezer. Do hope your snow starts to melt soon - we've still got big drifts out at Sennen - going to take a while I suppose. Keep warm and comfy ! Sue
