PERRANUTHNOE is a small village on the South Coast of Cornwall, just East of Marazion, there is a Car Park and sloping access to a safe sandy beach and the beachside Cabin Cafe. It has The Victoria Inn a superb multi award winning pub, which serves super food both lunchtimes & evenings, - a Church dating back as far as 1160. The Lynfield Centre which houses The Cowhouse Gallery, The Peppercorn Cafe and a hairdressers.

 Just as I was setting out with the dogs the RNLI Penlee Lifeboat passed on it's way back to Newlyn after paying a visit to the vessel Elka Glory
Still some snow lying in the shady areas

Wooster found a spade - still there if it's yours 
Just loved the sight of the snow drifts against the walls up on the hills behind Newlyn 

Forget what these are every year - but they've been having a rough time this year 
Up at Oamaru I'm amazed to see that the flowers are looking this good  - they were looking frozen and flattened last time I saw them
When I got home the water had come back on - it was rather brown for quite a long while, but thank you to those who worked hard in really nasty conditions to get the supply back on for so many
The clouds parted and suddenly we had a lovely afternoon

    Narcissus Rip van Winkle (probably) I have them in my garden, they are beautiful but every year the stems bend over as the flowers are so top heavy. Thank you once again for your beautiful out & about photo's of around Perranuthnoe, especially in the snowy/slippery conditions this week. Everywhere has looked beautiful in the snow but nice to have warmer temperatures today and glorious sunshine.

    Thanks for the name - they were in the garden when we arrived. Hope you got through all the snow and food shortages - thank goodness our snow went so quickly but unfortunately it means we're back to muddy walking again. Sue
