Sunday

Glorious morning
Slightly cool breeze at the top of the hill

Super cloud
I popped up to Oamaru as this weeks visitors hadn't arrived and I'd left some lights on for their arrival yesterday
Really was a stunningly clear day

Gave the lawn a quick mow yesterday - too wet to mow short
Mowed the moss in the front as well
I cleaned the windows in the poolhouse where it was 29c, so went out and sat on Wooster's patio with a Magnum
Off up the hill again in late afternoon - visitors still hadn't arrived, although I think they have now
Rather a wet looking beach

In fact a very wet beach as so much sand has gone from the top end
The old mine addit has collapsed but the water is still running out
A dog on the beach has to dig
Very happy dog
Closer view

Another fall along the cliff
So good to see him enjoying himself  - so much we can't do at the moment
Lovely colours in the waves

Another fall on the Western side
Sun was too bright for the camera
The end of a lovely day

  2. It was a super day, it started off fine today, but just noticed that it's raining on Scilly and on the way here. We are off to Scilly in June .sadly of course just with Wooster as we could not take incontinent Tilly with us to the hotel. I know how that sounds but we have to be realistic as we know she is also not fit enough to cope with the hill up to Star Castle....we struggle more and more. I think you can see how happy Wooster was on the beach yesterday he's not had much fun like that for quite a while. Hope you don't get the very cold weather that's forecast think we are just due to be cool rather than cold.Sue
