Sunshine and mist again
Although we couldn't see Mousehole I could see they had lovely sunshine as well on a webcam so the mist was in the middle of the bay

Scillonian III in the mist
No Mount !

After they got back I popped up to Trebarvah
No Mount visible at all
First chair painted and two more done this afternoon
New Cauliflower plants in one of the fields up there - sadly they have got a gas gun for bird scaring
Around lunchtime the water became a stunning colour

After 3pm and the tide was out
Perranuthnoe Churchtown looking its best
Vehicle carrier Neptune Aegli on its way to Portbury with the layer of mist behind
Sadly no AIS  on this lovely boat
Think that looks like Bite Adventures about to be passed by a gig heading out for yet more training

Thought this hedge of Blackthorn looked good
First one this year
Offshore wind has brought out the surfers
Since we haven't been able to go far recently we hadn't seen any Violets until today
Busy
Female Wheatear - in Spring plumage

Love to see rainbows in the spray

That seaweed isn't going anywhere

Since Nick had come to visit I opened up the old barbecue to cook some chicken  - sadly the mist came rolling from the North again

  1. Beautiful photos. with many reminders of our stay at Trebarvah just on five years ago. We actually arrived on the 27th. The Hawthorn hedge brought back memories of the lovely walks we took.
Hope you are both well and enjoying the sunshine.

    1. Lovely sunshine again today - the hedge is Blackthorn - flowers before the leaves then a little later the Hawthorn gets leaves and then flowers - the saying is Cast ne'er a clout till May is out - My Mum took it to mean don't go into Summer clothes until the end of May whereas it really means when the May is flowering. We're both doing OK getting a bit fed up of not being able to go out and about due to Tilly's problems. Sue
