Sunday

Yet another sunny day, with a cool Northerly wind

MSC Alyssa about to pass Wolf Rock Lighthouse on her way to Liverpool
Sand in the water again
Was in the wrong part of the house and almost missed the Penlee Lifeboat Ivan Ellen passing Perranuthnoe on the regular Sunday training/engine run
Had to hobble as fast as I could and grab the camera
Off they went past Cudden Point with the Ro-ro car carrier Atlantic Sky out in the shipping lanes  making for Liverpool
Tilly had an accident all over her dog bed and although I tried to clean it - even got the BexBissell out but it's had to go, so I managed to find Wooster's old puppy bed - as you can see he still loves it !
Back up the hill past the Forget-me-nots

Our little Japanese Azaleas  have suddenly started to flower, so pleased that something has survived the winter

Just one shot of the sun as I usually get up and down several times to try to catch the best shot

  1. Hello Sue and Jim,
Sorry to read that you are having trouble with your knee. Hope it comes good soon. When do you learn the result of the x-ray?
    Take care.

    1. Hello Betty, I know what the results of the x-ray will be - it will show that I have an arthritic knee - same as the other one that already has a half knee replacement. Not sure where I go next will see how it is. I have an appointment for a Cortisone injection into the knee but not until 14th May. Sue

  2. Poor Tilly. It is so sad when senior animals start to decline. Our cat had a very tough time when we were in the UK last September, and I felt guilty that our pet sitter had to put up with a sudden and rapid decline- lots of large lakes of urine all over our house.
On another note, I am excited to be landing at Heathrow a week tomorrow,

    1. Hi, it is rather sad to see Tilly slowly decline - her problem is poo and she manages to spread it all over the place - just once a day, the rest of the time she's OK. Jim has started to take her out much earlier, but it doesn't always work ! Hopefully you will be arriving just as the weather warms up again, I know you don't like too much heat, but it really has been very cold for the time of year even with lots of sunshine. Have a good trip over - you'll be in time for the Bluebells which are appearing around now. Sue
