PERRANUTHNOE is a small village on the South Coast of Cornwall, just East of Marazion, there is a Car Park and sloping access to a safe sandy beach and the beachside Cabin Cafe. It has The Victoria Inn a superb multi award winning pub, which serves super food both lunchtimes & evenings, - a Church dating back as far as 1160. The Lynfield Centre which houses The Cowhouse Gallery, The Peppercorn Cafe and a hairdressers.

Sunday

 Spotted the cruise ship Queen Victoria early this morning & noticed that she had turned into the bay
Jim took Wooster up the hill 
Lovely calm morning 
She came  further in to the bay 

The with the sun on her stern she set off to go round Lands End and head for Cobh - Eire 

I decided that I really wanted to go for a leisurely limp around Enys Gardens (Near Penryn)  to see the Bluebells - so off we went and found it much more easily than before - we have been known to go round and round the lanes
Wooster spotted these Guinea fowl the moment he got out of the car 
Lots of lovely colour, although Enys Gardens are not so well known for Azaleas and Rhododendrons 
Long queue to get in and they had only been open for 30 minutes

Thinks that this is Camassia - there were lots of them alongside the path 
This is why people flock to Enys Gardens in the Spring - this area is called Parc Lye and as you can see the Bluebells are out in the open rather than in Woodland.

Not sure but it was beautiful  - 
we then called in for a coffee/tea/cake or sandwich and a nice chat about dogs and knees !  As soon as I stood up I realised that stopping for a rest hadn't been a clever idea - pain killers and Voltarol, not much help, but off we staggered again

These Tree Ferns have never looked like this before - they've always had plenty of fronds

As we were making our way back towards the car I spotted this lovely view of the people admiring Parc Lye - looks rather like a painting 

Heading back to the house 
and it really was busy 

We then stopped off in the free park in Helston and Jim took Wooster for a run as he's been on his lead for hours

Back home to watch the Grand Prix - or in my case fall asleep, then Lucky Wooster went back up the hill again - this Hottentot Fig is on our lower wall - all the ones above the drive are dead

    Sorry to know you are still in pain. What a time you have had in the past week. Hope the beautiful scenes helped cheer you.
    Looks like the weather was lovely for your visit to the bluebells. Those photos are the best I've seen of bluebell fields and I've been viewing quite a few on blogs etc. lately. Thanks so much for sharing with me here on a cold and cloudy day in Melbourne.

      The Bluebells have been there for 100 years I gather - some years they are better than others - depends on the weather. It has been a horrible and hectic week and I was also in the middle of the reams of emails about the sale of Oamaru. Hopefully we're almost done with that now and Wooster is enjoying his lovely walks with Jim. Hope your weather cheers up a bit. Sue
