PERRANUTHNOE is a small village on the South Coast of Cornwall, just East of Marazion, there is a Car Park and sloping access to a safe sandy beach and the beachside Cabin Cafe. It has The Victoria Inn a superb multi award winning pub, which serves super food both lunchtimes & evenings, - a Church dating back as far as 1160. The Lynfield Centre which houses The Cowhouse Gallery, The Peppercorn Cafe and a hairdressers.

 Lots of activity up there this morning
Lovely and warm

Turned around and off she went

We then drove up to The Duchy Hospital in Truro for my knee's Physio check-up
But where did we go to next - no prizes !

We went to have a bite to eat in the cafe 
Don't think Wooster has got over the shock of this wandering in 
and out again

Home again and later on a walkies 



Rosina paid a visit 
Breeze and Lady Sue came past
and finally - advice needed - want to save the seed heads of these - do I leave them until they have dried out then cut them off ?

  1. I usually cut them (once the petals have dropped) leaving stems around a foot long tie them together and put them heads down in a brown paper bag.I then hang the bag in the garage for them to dry out.Rightly or wrongly this method works for me!Thanks for the daily Cornish fix.macca.

    1. Many thanks for the info ladies. Since it's suddenly got rather windy today, I've cut the first batch and will hang them to dry - lots more still to come ! Sue

Agree with the above comment from Macca, although I do sometimes keep them on the plant and let them dry, just keep your eye on the weather, high winds and rain don't do them any good obviously, they do look lovely in the winter time when they get a bit of frost on them. Hope the physio went well and you are making steady progress, no doubt some days better than others. Seeing that wild flower meadow at Godolphin must have been a delight, I am hoping to be able to walk to the Poppy fields at Heligan, finding it so frustrating, but you know the feeling well.
