Saturday

The big field has been cut - not sure if it's been turned, but it had really grown well this time
Rather breezy and cloudy
Dipping her nose a little

I suddenly noticed that she had stopped and turned - was giving some shelter to the sadly dis-masted yacht to the right - looked like it was still in full sail, so a huge weight hanging over the side
Then off she went again
Jim;s trip to Lidl Penzance yesterday had not gone well, so I decided to make my bid for freedom and accompany Jim to Helston - but first we went to the top of Loe Bar Road and parked to have a short walk
Sadly the conditions were not great - misty and rather grey and breezy, but it was good to get out
Proof I was out - sadly looking rather windswept and baggy trousered owing to the fact my new knee doesn't fit into any of my normal jeans etc.
Wooster in his usual "which way? " spot
Then getting a little annoyed to be told that not only is there no route to the right, but that we weren't carrying on any further - "Baby Steps" - didn't want to overdo it
Afternoon walkies under grey skies with just a little dampness

Wooster trying to persuade Jim to carry on past home for extra walkies
Balcony now sporting a nice water feature
and the view from the office chair is much nicer !

  1. Well done Sue for having a little walk, bet it felt great to be out in the fresh air, I'm now following in your footsteps, X ray's in 10 days then hopefully a new knee or possibly two. Take care don't go overdoing things. Love the water feature, succulents are looking good also. Wonderful photo's over the past few days again, thank you both so much.

    1. Hi Kathy, Hope all goes well and you are granted a new knee - lots of pain, but hopefully after the pain comes lots more walking ! Must admit that this one is much more painful than the first - but bruising is slowly subsiding and hopefully as the swelling goes down it will want to move better. The chap that does the car park Mon & Friday sells the succulents - as well as his own potatoes etc. love them ! Expect you've had a horrid day as well as us - hope we get some nice sunshine soon.

    1. Seemed like a good idea at the time, but a pity it was so cool and windy. Knee was rather painful afterwards - this op was a different one to my first and seems to be much slower to start to move properly. Horrid day here today rain/mizzle all day. Sue
