Monday

Amazingly calm morning, with the two tankers pointing in different directions on the calm sea
Some dark clouds as Jim walked Wooster

Scillonian III setting off on a much calmer trip today

That's better !
I went to the window to get ready for a photo of Scillonian III abd saw an unusual bird in the Cedar Tree
It flew onto the pine tree and I realised it was a Green Woodpecker

Had to take these through the window as trying to open one would have frightened it away
Jim went down to mow the lawn and I noticed Wooster was very interested in something over the wall
It was neighbour Rosie exploring the hedgerow
Afternoon walkies and it was still calm and mainly sunny

With all the dull weather I have missed the sun setting  behind the Church as it's now well past that and heading for Mousehole

  1. Lovely colours in the fields. Trees will be turning soon now that Autumn is on the way. Lovely silhouette of church tower as the sun sets. Looking forward to some beautiful sunsets as the days go by.
    Hope you are both well.
    Take care. Betty
