Lots of light rain around
Fun on a quiet Winter beach
Afternoon walkies and here comes young Charlie
Such a sweetie
Really dark clouds heading towards us
Unfortunately as I walked through the mud at the end of this bit of footpath my walking pole slipped and therefore so did I - and down I went- poor knees and feet and the worst of it was it was so slippery I couldn't get up. Thank goodness I was wearing gloves as I had to try to crawl into the grass which was full of nettles. Jim tried to help and I eventually managed to right myself. Trousers and boots caked in mud !
We were going to carry on up the hill but then noticed the cloud and rain was approaching fast, so just went around the end of the spoil heap
Started to rain while we were on the field.
Trousers and boots washed and painkillers taken !!
Oh, Sue. I hope you recover quickly. Do take it easy for a while. Thinking of you all as you approach Winter. We have had a few warm/hot days, but it has not settled in to consistently warm weather yet. Summer officially begins 1st December. I think of you often and remember the happy times I spent with you on those two special occasions. Thanks for your wonderful photos and news every morning when I turn on the computer.
ReplyDeleteWarm good wishes to you and Jim.
Betty
Thanks Betty - I'm fine - just a nasty bruise on my hip where I must have hit my walking pole on the way down - sadly it's bent and I need a replacement. Sad as I've had it a long time - like an old friend ! We're supposed to be colder here for a few days - hopefully no frost or snow down here in Cornwall - except possibly the moors. Enjoy you warmer days ! Sue & Jim
