I gather from Trip Advisor somments that the price of drinks is indeed far too high even compared to Kota in Porthleven - which is also pricey. Hope it's success, but not at the expense of the other "eateries" in Portleven. I like tapas dining and the chance to try different kinds of seafood. Cooking fish is not easy so Rick Stein needs to make sure he has a competent executive chef in the kitchen. I wonder when the Fleet Street critics will be sent down to try the food? I'll keep watching the Guardian and Independent Online to see.<br />I am not sure I like all that blue light either. I wonder what the locals think who look down over the harbour. It is all a bit Disneyfied and cold looking.Lynnnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3444350273723015604.post-26697913692565415292014-11-15T20:12:36.614+00:002014-11-15T20:12:36.614+00:00We didn't get many showers today - possibly on...We didn't get many showers today - possibly only one whilst on a quick trip to Pz for Jim's Ginger Wine - when we got to Godolphin Woods it had stopped. Must have been lucky for a change ! We like our fish well cooked also, so when we are down that way we will probably stick with The Square, The Victoria Inn, or Peppercorn. Never been disappointed with any of those lovely eating places. Nice to see some sun today between the heavy showers, great photo's from yesterday, keep them coming pleae.K&Tnoreply@blogger.com
