Thursday

Free standing scaffolding tower up against this old cob cottage as the renovation begins
Bad timing for our morning dog walk - as soon as we could see over the bay we could see the rain heading towards us
Getting closer as we neared Maen-dhu Point
An almost deserted beach today as we quickly made our way along to The Cabin Cafe for a lovely coffee & cake - and shelter from the rain

  1. Sue, I wonder if you can do me a favour and see what company is doing the cob repair. Mine was done in 2009 and I am hearing that it might need some more work done. Thanks, I would be very grateful. Loved your photos of the fireworks over the bay, quite a stunning sight. I think Tilly and Wooster were very brave to go to the display and not turn a hair. Maybe it was that extra walk and being out at night so excitement was uppermost in their minds.

  2. Will take a photo of the van next time we see it. Lynn. Hope yours doesn't need too much work ! Think they may be going to do the roof first,
We really enjoyed the fireworks and since the dogs are gundogs they don't usually turn a hair at bangs - although they were not noisy fireworks with lots of bangs and screams etc Think they'd like to go every night - walking in the moonlight isn't something we usually do.
