Boscastle 10 years on

Seems hard to believe that it's 10 years since the terrible deluge caused the torrent of water to race through Boscastle - We had bought the house at Tresillian, but had left to return to Leicester as that house wasn't sold yet. It was a shock to get home and read about what had happened
112 cars washed away - some never found, but thanks to the amazing efforts of the rescue helicopters and coastguards not one life was lost
Amazing photos by Mark Pearson - courtesy of Daily Mail
So good to see how superb it looks again now

    1. Hope we never get to see the like of that massive cloudburst again - quite amazing that no one died, although I'm sure that the Locals feel it's not the same as it was.
Hope you have some good weather "up North" and the tides aren't too high ! Sue
