Friday

Woke up to rain and it rained all morning. There was a lull at around mid day, so I nipped out with the dogs
Low cloud hanging over the hills behind the North Coast

 Young Blackbird ahead of us
Wooster & Tilly pointed for ages -  follow the direction of the head !
 Waves rolling in today
Close-up of the beautiful Castle from Trebarvah
General Cargo vessel Donau leaving Mount's Bay this morning
Some sunny periods this afternoon, but lots of black clouds
 Sheltered in Boat Cove
Someones old fridge-freezer has washed into Boat Cove

Amazing contrasts between the sun and the shadows
 Still hopeful for some waves

Windy on that side of the bay
It's been a long time since there was any water in this trench
Distant photo of Happy Return on her way out of Mount's Bay in the sunshine this evening - taking part in the PASAB (Penzance to Scilly and Back) Race.  Sadly due to the weather conditions forecast for the next few days there were only 5 boats taking part.

  1. What a beautiful sunset..still raining here ! has been since 12 noon yesterday ! and now it's windy ! Lovely view of the Castle wish I had visited when I was able to negotiate all those steps ! Sad to see a fridge on the beach wonder where that was dumped...used to be a regular thing in the lane near us but thankfully that seems to have stopped ! Thanks Sue for your daily albums..macca

  2. Nice clear day again today - forecast not good for tomorrow, although Met Office have been wide of the mark a lot recently. Most of the time we're not getting the worst of the rain - sending it all up-country to you ! Hope next week is good as we have the first of the returning visitors from last year and they had a scorching week then ! Sue
