The juvenile Common Buzzard swooped down onto the hedge in front of me
Jim took the dogs up the hill to Trebarvah & back, whilst I went up to Oamaru Barn
The clouds were painting the bay with shafts of sunlight and patches of shade
Super clear view of The Castle again
The Kestrel came back again - much closer this time
Since it was such a fine day, we decided to walk over the hill to Trevean
Through the cattle field - all nice and calm again !
The "Wild" camping field at Trevean is open for the few weeks of the peak season - lovely spot !
Looking over the Barley field to Acton Castle
Looking down to the beach from the hill above Trevean Cove
Looking East to Cudden Point
Back down the hill to the Coastal Footpath
Gatekeeper butterflies all over the place again
As we walked along the path darker cloud was starting to rise up
Lovely Peacock Butterfly that just wouldn't open its wings any more
The view from the footpath that goes back up to Trebarvah
Rather prickly, but I do like Teasels and the Goldfinches love them in the Winter
