A Glorious Day Out

The builders were cutting slabs with a grinder & the resultant noise & dust was a good enough excuse for a day out. We packed sandwiches as we knew that the super cafe at Porthgwarra is not opening until Saturday. Mary Chappell was inside getting things ready and serving mugs of tea & coffee as everyone thought she was open ! Still never mind, Jim can have a pastie next time ! We sat high on the cliffs eating our lunch & watching Gannets plunging and gulls gliding past. We walked as far as Nanjizal, as the path gets quite steep after that & aging Charlie Pointer & me decided it was time to turn around !
