PERRANUTHNOE is a small village on the South Coast of Cornwall, just East of Marazion, there is a Car Park and sloping access to a safe sandy beach and the beachside Cabin Cafe. It has The Victoria Inn a superb multi award winning pub, which serves super food both lunchtimes & evenings, - a Church dating back as far as 1160. The Lynfield Centre which houses The Cowhouse Gallery, The Peppercorn Cafe and a hairdressers.
There were Painted Lady Butterflies everywhere today -eight or nine at a time taking advantage of our wall covered in their favourite - Valerian.
Hi sue there where hundreds of Butterflies on the coast path at Mean Cliff this evening.

Sometimes as you disturb them you can send up 20 or 30 off one very small patch.

Hi George, pleased you're still looking in - the Butterfly folks are having a count of the Painted Ladies today - trouble is you're supposed to sit for 2 hours and count them - can't spare the time ! Sue

ReplyDeleteI did record on there that I have seen them and as I had taken photos I could date it to the 21st May. Only seen about 3 though.
