Not a good day to go to Falmouth !

Both son Nick & I needed shopping from Falmouth, so we set off fairly early on a calm slightly grey morning after a little rain overnight. As we headed cross country we came into mist, which turned into fog (or low cloud) the other side of Helston. By the time we got to Falmouth it was raining and evidently it was raining yesterday evening when we were enjoying such a lovely visit to the beach. The rain was never too bad, but quite heavy at times, but we were quite lucky as Truro had got problems with flooding as they had had a torrential downpour. It was also quite cool in Falmouth and when we got out of the car in Helston for a quick visit to Lidl we were back in the humid, warm air again.
We did have a heavy shower whilst Jim was out with the dogs - he! he!
