On the way back to the car I stopped to take this photograph of St Michaels Mount with the Red River flowing down the beach into the sea. (There are several Red Rivers in the area - I gather due to the colour the water used to be, caused by the Iron Ore "run off" from the local tin mines) I then noticed that the huge black cloud was moving rather faster than I expected so had to get back to the car rather quickly. It's been like that all day
PERRANUTHNOE is a small village on the South Coast of Cornwall, just East of Marazion, there is a Car Park and sloping access to a safe sandy beach and the beachside Cabin Cafe. It has The Victoria Inn a superb multi award winning pub, which serves super food both lunchtimes & evenings, - a Church dating back as far as 1160. The Lynfield Centre which houses The Cowhouse Gallery, The Peppercorn Cafe and a hairdressers.

Love the curve of the river in that one! Christine
ReplyDeleteYes, It's a super place to stand - it's Keith's favourite spot, but he wasn't there, so I thought he wouldn't mind ! Sue
