Well no not really, I was beginning to think as I posted last evening that the schematics were showing the storm passing to the South of West Cornwall & it did - the max. wind overnight at Landsend Weather was 37mph at 4.56am. There's still a NW breeze, but tucked into a hillside facing South we don't really notice Northerly winds. Unfortunately areas of the UK in the S and SE that have had lots of bad weather recently are getting it again - makes me feel rather guilty !
PERRANUTHNOE is a small village on the South Coast of Cornwall, just East of Marazion, there is a Car Park and sloping access to a safe sandy beach and the beachside Cabin Cafe. It has The Victoria Inn a superb multi award winning pub, which serves super food both lunchtimes & evenings, - a Church dating back as far as 1160. The Lynfield Centre which houses The Cowhouse Gallery, The Peppercorn Cafe and a hairdressers.

Don`t feel guilty Sue, we were promised a storm but it came to nothing, 0.4mph breeze and 0.01inch of, well not rain probably morning dew.
ReplyDeleteI have had a news free day so I don`t know where the worst of the weather was.
