A day of two halves

A cool and grey and misty start to the day, I went down to Marazion Marsh to try to get a few photos and was thrilled to see several little groups of Sand Martins and Swallows arriving from their long Spring migration as well as distant views of Terns also arriving - mostly across the bay towards Mousehole and Newlyn (there were several more knowledgeable birders there and they recognised which Tern etc)
As the afternoon progressed the clouds parted the wind turned and we suddenly noticed that there was good surf with an off-shore breeze, so we took the dogs for their walk in that direction.
