Scillonian III out and about !

After all the clear and sunny days, sadly it was not that today. We kept watch for Scillonian III as Keith Hargreaves had seen she was out of the wet dock yesterday. As usual it all went wrong when we had a visitor just at the moment she decided to do her turn around Mounts Bay. After our visitor had left, I looked at the AIS and there she was, she'd already gone out and round the two tankers and was on her way back into the worst of the light for us to get a pic. Still it's good to see her and it won't be long before her first trip - I think 27th March.

  1. Scillonian III sailed for St Mary's on 22 March with cargo only. She looked stunning crossing Mounts Bay in the evening catching the last of the light.

She sailed again this morning again for St Marys and has an eta of 1700 at Penzance.
