Making it's first appearance just before sunset, but the forecast is good for the rest of the week.
The left hand tree is once again home to our pair of Crows - the twigs have been brought in thick and fast and the male is once again perched on next doors aerial where he can keep an eye on all the gulls etc. The pair of gulls that had been thinking of nesting on our roof have seemed to have abandoned their plans so Mr Crow is doing his job ! It's not as exiting as watching the Ospreys in Scotland, but we have been amused by the fact that as with so many parents these days the Crows have been having trouble getting rid of their offspring ! Last years youngsters have been trying to sneak into the Cedar tree in the evenings, but have been sent packing now - I think !
