This handsome Blackbird has a wife on a nest in the gorse the other side of the wall - Yesterday landscape gardner Paul was lifting the old turf from where the old Koi pond was and he found lots of huge Chafer Grubs which he was placing where the blackbird could come and collect them. Today, he has waited in vain, so it looks like he has had his revenge and pooed all down the wall. The Robin came and took a look, but wisely decided they were too big for him.

No grubs today !
