Well it looks like we have at least five chicks and a possible sixth over to the right. Not bad considering the bitterly cold weather the female has had to endure whilst laying and incubating the eggs. Both the parents are now bringing in food - often from the feeders - ground peanuts, fatty morsels or soaked mealworms - Lovely ! !
PERRANUTHNOE is a small village on the South Coast of Cornwall, just East of Marazion, there is a Car Park and sloping access to a safe sandy beach and the beachside Cabin Cafe. It has The Victoria Inn a superb multi award winning pub, which serves super food both lunchtimes & evenings, - a Church dating back as far as 1160. The Lynfield Centre which houses The Cowhouse Gallery, The Peppercorn Cafe and a hairdressers.

It was a fine and sunny morning, so I got on with some outside jobs, unfortunately after lunch it clouded over and got much cooler - which was unfortunate as we had already got some chicken out to barbecue - nevertheless I donned a fleece and carried on regardless ! I did also have my first swim in the pool - I've been so busy painting it, it made a nice change to enjoy it instead !
