PERRANUTHNOE is a small village on the South Coast of Cornwall, just East of Marazion, there is a Car Park and sloping access to a safe sandy beach and the beachside Cabin Cafe. It has The Victoria Inn a superb multi award winning pub, which serves super food both lunchtimes & evenings, - a Church dating back as far as 1160. The Lynfield Centre which houses The Cowhouse Gallery, The Peppercorn Cafe and a hairdressers.

Looking East to Carn Brea

The Basset Monument on the top of Carn Brea (Thanks George !) Not used to seeing it from this side !

    Wow you must have been really close to me today!
    The monument itself is named the Basset Monument after the famous Basset family that pioneered tin mining in the 1800's

  2. Oh crumbs I'm never sure which is Carn Brea when I'm around there - I'll know next time ! It's quite a pleasant and interesting drive over to Camborne - I turned left in Four Lanes and got to Camborne via Pool. Thanks for the help ! Sue
