I don't know what this shrub is, but it is superb, the colour of the leaves and flowers quite beautiful
The Iris's are having a good year, I've seen quite a few lovely ones recently

The lovely copper flowering shrub you show in your photo is an Elderberry Bush. I believe it grows to about 12 foot high. Love your blog. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteHello Sue, We were given free access to the Ednovean Gardens to photograph in 2009, it has to be the best garden we had visited, we could not Thank Christine and her husband enough.

ReplyDeleteHeiko, We always love exploring the garden at Ednovean Farm and we were so lucky with the weather. Must admit I'm a little aprehensive about horses, but that's probably just because they're so much bigger than dogs ! Sue
