With a wonderful sea view like ours we expected to see many different types of vessel, but we seem to be seeing an increasing number of rigs or as in this case a Self Propelled Jack-up rig for heavy lifting - below are a couple of photos from the net to show how impressive these are.
It is self powered - most of the rigs we see are being towed
