This Lifeboat lookalike with a yellow stripe- I now know it must be the ex. Penlee Lifeboat the Mabel Alice -(I assume the yellow stripe denoting she's no longer operational) went past heading across the bay - and as I looked at it in the binoculars what did I spot but The Matthew right over by St Michael's Mount - as I'd driven down the Marazion bypass I hadn't seen it !

  1. Mousehole follower here .... I heard the Matthew calling Mabel Alice on my scanner so believe the boat in question to be the ex - RNLI Lifeboat "Mabel Alice" which was based at Newlyn as the Penlee Lifeboat.
