Went down to the new lounge that I'm in the middle of decorating and this Rove Beetle was walking along the skirting board, I dashed into the kitchen and grabbed a large tumbler and as I went to place it over it,  it raised it's tail - Scorpion style, nasty ! It was about 1.5inches long and really unpleasant looking. Obviously this shot was taken through the tumbler !

  1. Hi Sue. Thanks for your comments on my blog. Yes I thoroughly enjoyed my trip down and it was good to see everyone. Your Rove Beetle looks hugely fearsome and its a great photo. Never seen or heard of one before. Interesting. I never really realised quite how busy Mounts Bay is. Your beautiful viewpoint seems to keep you very busy checking up on what is going on and you keep us well informed. Ann x

  2. Hi Ann, it's no usually as busy as yesterday, but it's always interesting to keep a watch on what's going on. Jim bravely took the Rove Beetle out onto the end patio & dropped it into the gorse bushes ! Just hope there aren't any more ! Sue
