Monday

A nice fine sunny day - with rather a chilly wind, but the garden was reasonably sheltered, so we went out to put some border fencing in to try to stop Wooster going onto the garden. I noticed that our "guardian angels" the Crows were on watch in the trees at the front of the house - they must be getting ready to build this years nest. They are really useful at keeping the Gulls away as they are all looking for suitable roofs to built their nests on and believe me no one want that - they are real pests.

  1. Let's hope that gulls don't nest on the roof of Withey Cottages again this year! I think we may need your crows to help scare them away. Can we buy some at village crafts?

  2. Hi Susan, the gulls do seem to be persistent down there, trouble is you will need big trees for the Crows ! ! We also have Wood Pidgeons and the mess their poo is creating is really nasty ! So we win one battle and have another to deal with ! Sue
