PERRANUTHNOE is a small village on the South Coast of Cornwall, just East of Marazion, there is a Car Park and sloping access to a safe sandy beach and the beachside Cabin Cafe. It has The Victoria Inn a superb multi award winning pub, which serves super food both lunchtimes & evenings, - a Church dating back as far as 1160. The Lynfield Centre which houses The Cowhouse Gallery, The Peppercorn Cafe and a hairdressers.

Fastnet Racers meet Le Figaro Racers

This shot shows the AIS with the first of the main fleet of yachts in The Fastnet Race heading for Lands End with the French Yachts in the Figaro Race heading South.  Later this afternoon I watched the massive 140ft Trimaran Maxi Banque Populaire, race East across the horizon - at times reaching well over 25 knots - huge sails dwarfing the yachts still heading West towards The Fastnet Rock off S Ireland.  The Trimaran has beaten the record for the race by quite a margin, but will not be classed as winner because of the handicap system.
