A Tribute to the brave crew of the Penlee Lifeboat Solomon Brown lost 1981

  1. Morning Sue,
thirty years now that the disaster struck the village of Mousehole. I show the memorial to everybody that visits us during our summer-holidays and tell the story of that gallant crew, that gave their lives trying to save others.
Unfortunatly I can't see the video that you posted because of copyright problems with the music here in Germany, but I found a different one with a song about the Penlee Lifeboat disaster sung by the Cornish Wurzels with the present lifeboat crew as background singers, worth listening.
I also read a comment saying: you die twice, the first time is when you stop breathing and the second time is when your name is said for the last time; these boys will live forever.

    All the best

    Gerd
