Jim came into the lounge as I was having breakfast to say "had I seen the sky ?" I went out and took this photo, but I gather I'd missed the best bit - it was unfortunately the arrival of the expected rain and wind - although the forecast wind of gusts of 25mph were just a little bit "out" we had gusts of 58mph from SW and a 60mph when it had turned round to NW.
I was feeling pleased that I had finished all my shopping and wouldn't have to go out when I got a phonecall from Nick to say that his Tumble Drier was no longer heating and both he and his lodger needed it - I called the Super Guy from Marazion, whose business is aptly named Washday Blues and for once my luck (and Nicks) was in, he was in St Buryan and would meet me there in Penzance. So off I went, in torrential rain and high winds, but we arrived at Nicks at exactly the same moment and 10 minutes later - new thermostats fitted it was Job Done - What a Guy ! I then set off for home via a pharmacy as I've got a sore throat & have an awful feeling that I've got a cold coming on - really annoying as I've got a lots of cooking & present packing to do !

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU & OUR GRATEFUL THANKS FOR ALL YOUR WONDERFUL PHOTO'S THROUGHOUT 2011. THEY ARE SO APPRECIATED.
