Perranuthnoe Christmas Tree Lighting on Friday

The Cross on the top of the church all lit up for the first time
It had been quite a fine day and we were hopeful that we might be lucky with the weather. Unfortunately it was not to be, we had a heavy shower before we set out and although the skies cleared for a while, it started to rain just as the tree was being blessed and thereafter it got much worse, unfortunately sending most people to The Victoria where nibbles and mulled wine awaited them. Thus leaving the Perran Voices to sing carols almost alone !
