Sorry for the rather "samey" photos - we've been rather busy lately and the weather is not helping - this morning was quite pleasant with some blue sky and sunshine and I was going to stop off at the Hayle Estuary to take some photos. Unfortunately as I drove back the sky was full of big dark clouds and I knew that my camera wouldn't get any good shots in those conditions. By late this afternoon it had got even darker, so we went off to the woods - the dogs love it there, so no complaints from them !

I love your "samey" photos. Such a wonderful view!
ReplyDeleteSome of my ancestors lived at Germoe and Breage in the 1800's, others near Pendeen, and Redruth. All of my mother's ancestors came from Cornwall. They emigrated to Australia over one hundred years ago!
Hi Betty, You sound very proud of your Cornish Ancestry - so many from this area left for distant shores and hopefully a better life & a job usually in the mines - have you read about the voyage of the Mystery http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mystery_(lugger) and the recent recreation of this voyage on a beautiful reproduction of the vessel the Spirit of Mystery.
