The weather forecast was for rain, and boy did we get rain, some fairly light and some very heavy - it's always the way, as soon as South West Water say we're officially in a drought situation, down comes the rain.

Lovely view. Sorry about the rain! Sounds like you need it 'though. It's pouring down here right now and cold. Feels like winter is here after some very nice mild autumn days.
ReplyDeleteHello Betty, we've actually had a very unexpected fine day today, but the clouds rolled in late in the afternoon and heavy rain and possible gales are due overnight.
DeleteSorry you're now feeling like Winter is on the way - I know that we all really felt the cold after our wonderful warm March & then it was like Winter was back. Sue
Oh dear, we've got Sunshine up here! Looks like a reversal of weather! I'll pop a couple of bottles filled up with tap water in the boot when we come down!
ReplyDeleteHi Susan, well I think you've had your share of bad weather up there North of the border. We're supposed to be having a really wild and wet night, but the met office & XC weather seem to have different opinions on how bad it will be. I gather that Scillonian has been put round on Albert Pier - so they think it might be bad ! Not too long now before you get to sample the delights of Perranuthnoe. Sue
DeleteHello Sue,
ReplyDeleteI spoke too soon! We've had heavy showers, counting down the weeks-8! Glad the tanker drivers are letting you get up North at the weekend. Have a Happy Anniversary to you both for Saturday too!
